Recently, I had the great opportunity to photograph a beautiful engagement session during the sunset at the Chicago Planetarium—an experience etched in my mind forever.

Tiarra and Forest, just the sweetest couple to work with. It was love from the very first meeting that showed in each glance and touch. It was that kind of excitement about the session that leads moments full of joy and created such unforgettable memories and images.

We arrived at the Chicago Planetarium just as the sun began to set over the city, spilling its last rays with a warm golden glow. The beautiful architecture at the planetarium and the views of Lake Michigan from it fit well in view for making this day special. T

The Fun and Sweet Moments

Tiarra and Forest—what a blast to work with! Playful interactions and real laughter make for very candid, heartwarming shots. Whether they were sharing sweet nothings to one another or just taking in the view, it was undeniable how bonded they were. You can tell these two are head over heels in love and so excited to share the future together. We made good use of the beautiful light and captured stunning silhouettes and dreamy, backlit portraits that told of their joy and affection.
