As a black destination wedding photographer based in the midwest, I have been lucky enough to capture countless beautiful moments in my career. But there’s something special about photographing a fall wedding that makes it stand out from the rest. And when I was asked to photograph a wedding at the University Club of Michigan State University in 2019, I knew it was going to be a day to remember.

From the moment I arrived, I could tell that the couple was full of life and laughter. They were both beaming with joy and excitement, which made it easy for me to capture their love in every shot. And the guests were no different. They were all so welcoming and warm, and it was clear that they were there to celebrate the happy couple.

The University Club of Michigan State University was the perfect setting for the wedding. The beautiful fall foliage and the stunning architecture of the building made for a picturesque backdrop. And as the sun began to set, the golden hour light provided the perfect ambiance for the photos.

As I captured the day’s events, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for my job. Being able to witness such a special day and capture memories that the couple will cherish forever is an honor that I don’t take lightly. And with a fun and lively group like this one, it didn’t even feel like work.

Looking back on that day, I am filled with excitement and eagerness to photograph another wedding. There’s just something about the energy of a wedding that makes me feel alive. And when you combine that with the beauty of fall and the stunning backdrop of the University Club of Michigan State University, it’s a recipe for pure magic.

So to the happy couple, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day. Looking for a fun wedding photographer lol? Get in touch here!
