How to stand out in a oversaturated or saturated wedding photography market, how to stand out in a oversaturated wedding photography market, oversaturated,

Okay, friends time for some real sh*t!

And I mean, REAL! I’m bringing out the big mama in me for today’s blog post!

Oversaturated!

I’m tired of hearing about it! And I need to be honest with myself! Like I mean full out 100 right now! I’ve caught myself saying this word on more than one occasion, and I’ve heard other photographers mutter the word oversaturated a few times as well.  There are way too many photographers out there charging low prices and its ruining the industry. So I’m here to be real with you right here and now!

  1. EVERY DAMN MARKET IS OVERSATURATED!!
  2. STOP WORRYING ABOUT WHAT THEY’RE DOING IN THEIR BUSINESS AND WORRY ABOUT YOUR OWN!

Can you tell that I’m annoyed with hearing this? I mean we all started out charging not so great prices, but who are you to tell someone else that they can’t? Stop worrying so much about their lane and keep working on building and staying in your own.

Do you think one tree is going to let the growth of another tree stunt it’s own growth and wellbeing? Or is that tree going allow it’s self to grow and flourish and chase the light? You have to ask yourself  instead:

  1. What am I doing to stand out in my industry?
  2. Am I willing to help educate others in my industry?
  3. Am I using these excuses as a form of deflection?

And remember you have something those other photographers don’t have: YOU! So be you boo, and shine reach for your light!

Here’s to growth boo! You’ve got this!
